EXECUTIVE ROUNDTABLE IN MORTGAGE FINANCE
This week in Washington, D.C. my companies, ProTitleUSA OneDiligence and DocSolutionUSA, had the honor of sponsoring the Executive Roundtable—easily one of the most engaging conferences I’ve attended.
Several themes stood out. Stan Middleman shared how Freedom Mortgage is actively rolling out AI across the organization, signaling just how quickly technology is reshaping servicing. Chris Whalen drew strong interest from the GSE community as he discussed proposals around MSR handling and invited feedback.
Legal insights from Cooley LLP highlighted a clear trend: states are becoming increasingly aggressive in servicing audits and enforcement. On the technology front, it was fascinating to see how tools like Claude AI are being leveraged in real workflows, including by InstaMortgage.
We also heard valuable economic perspectives from the Mortgage Bankers Association and Odeta Kushi of First American, along with insights from Ginnie Mae on technology adoption and international investment flows into U.S. markets.
